At Marlborough College Summer School, our expert team of pastoral staff and tutors make entertaining young people look like child’s play. Whether you are looking for an answer to that perpetual question of how to please all the family on holiday or childcare options when term ends, we can help.
A multi-generational holiday is a fantastic opportunity for grandparents, parents, siblings and cousins to enjoy time together and create memories that last long after bags have been unpacked back home. However, balancing the needs of a wide range of ages and interests can present a number of challenges, and this is where we believe Summer School offers the ideal, stress-free solution! Parents and grandparents can choose their own courses and entertainment with peace of mind that the youngsters are happy and well cared for, but never far away.
We divide courses for young people into four age bands with the structure and content designed to provide an exciting adventure in a safe environment. Junior Troopers (3-6 years) and Children’s Activities (6-9 years) adopt the multi-activity approach with a packed programme of arts and crafts, music, sports and outdoor games. Like the adults, older children and teenagers can choose a morning and afternoon course, which they continue all week. In addition to well-loved courses such as Outdoor Adventures, Introduction to Water Polo, Fly Fishing, Tennis and Horse Riding, here are just some of the diverse new activities available this year.
